Poor Finish
I have worn your hats for 25 years. Purchased my first one from a hat store in Fredericksburg Va. When I brought it, the owner remarked he hated to sell it to me. When I asked why, he replied because I would not be back the following summer for a new straw. That was my custom a new straw every summer, but he knew your would last much longer. Hence the beginning of a love affair. I have told any and every one who asked about Sunbody hats. This last purchase is the first disappointment in all these years. Order #155177 date 04/20/26 The brim is flimsy, but firmed a little after I shaped it . The biggest problem is areas of loose straw sticking up. One on the brim that hung down at eye level . Just not a smooth finish.

Still looks great and still durable after 5 years
Hat still looks great after five years! Recently wore it at outdoor concert where we had a short light rain; it kept my head dry and it was enough rain that allowed me right there and then to touch up the brim creasing: slight roll to sides, back and a down snap to the front.

This has has proved to be my favorite summer hat
I bought this has 6 years ago and love it every time I wear it. The quality is superb and the patina has developed beautifully. Also, the hat has maintained it's shape. I added a horsehair hatband and could not be happier.
