Wholesale Policies
- Order Minimums - Minimum opening order is $400.00. We ask that you usually order 3 or more of a given style. For styles that are made to order, we may charge a $7.50 single hat fee for less than 3 of that style of hat. We understand that you will occasionally want to order only one of a style you haven't had before just to see what it looks like and gauge customer interest. But we ask that you not, as a general practice, take orders from customers for specific hats and then place those orders with us. We have found this to be a frustrating exercise for us, you and your customer.
- Drop Shipping - As a general rule, we do not drop ship to individual customers. There is a $10.00 drop ship charge for hats shipped to retail customers. We ask that internet dealers stock the hats they are advertising.
- EIN/Tax ID - As part of your Wholesale Application, we'll request proof of your tax status.
- Texas Sale Tax - If you are located in Texas, please download and fill out the Texas Sales Tax form so that we don't have to charge you sales tax.
SHIPPING TIME: Orders for open crown (uncreased) hats, and some of our best sellers can be shipped the same day or next day from when we receive them, but please order by 11 a.m. if at all possible. Allow 2-5 days for creasing and eyeletting, bound-edges and lacing. If you have an event you are ordering for, or any other deadline, please be sure and tell us when you order. We are busy; demand is high. Please make every effort to get us your orders as soon as possible to help us get your hats to you when you need them. Allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing.
EYELETTING:. $1.50 per hat for three small or large eyelets on each side. $0.75 per hat for stampede string eyelets, on on each side of the hat.
BOUND EDGES: Solid color grosgrain is $4.90 per hat. If the color is other than black, we also make a matching hatband of the same ribbon in 1/4" or 5/8" width. Many colors of grosgrain ribbon are stocked. A set-up charge of $7.50 per color may apply for fewer than 3 of one color. Additional, non-stock colors are available for an extra charge. Swatches are available. “Hitched” webbing bound-edges are not longer available."
CREASING: We can crease any of the open crown hats as follows: $4.90 per hat for all the usual creases (Reata, Cattleman, Teardrop, Gus, Montana Peak, Gambler, Boxtop, Elko) on all hats except the 8” brim, which are $10.60. Ask for pricing on custom creases.
